Turning NaNoWriMo Into NaNo-Me-Mo

I love the excitement that surrounds National Novel Writing Month. I've never won. I rarely am working on a brand new story. I don't care. For me, NaNoWriMo isn't about everyone else who is writing and their goals. It's about me.

NaNo-Me-Mo

I've known a few people who gave up on NaNoWriMo, even though they really enjoyed it, because their writing goals didn't coincide with the rules. My advice? Forget the rules.

You may not be able to write a 50,000 word book in 30 days. You may not want to. But you don't have to give up on the camaraderie and fun.

Make it NaNo-You-Mo.
